No, Pass Marks currently offers only manual driving lessons. If you require automatic lessons, we recommend seeking a specialist automatic instructor in your area.
Many of our students start as nervous drivers. Mark specializes in creating a calm, supportive learning environment and tailors his teaching approach to help build your confidence gradually. We take things at your pace and focus on developing your skills in a pressure-free environment.
Your first lesson will begin with an introduction and a discussion about your previous driving experience (if any). We'll cover the basics of the car controls and safety procedures before finding a quiet area to begin driving. The focus will be on getting comfortable behind the wheel and understanding the fundamentals. Don't worry – we won't take you on busy roads until you're ready!
Driving tests can be booked through the official DVSA website or by calling the DVSA. As your instructor, Mark can advise on when you're test-ready and can help you book your test if needed. We recommend booking well in advance as waiting times can be several weeks or months.
Pass Plus is a training course designed for new drivers who have recently passed their test. It covers driving in different conditions including motorways, rural roads, and night driving. Many insurance companies offer discounts for Pass Plus qualified drivers, and it's a great way to build confidence in situations not typically covered during standard lessons.
